The Studio Phoenix - Body Collection

BODY classes take our passion to be AF and applies it to a full-body class incorporating functional movements, stretching and breath awareness. All of this is done from a knowledge of body mechanics and properly aligned positions. Every class is modifiable and accessible for any body type. We take pride in embracing each body in the way it shows up, and in helping YOU to feel stronger from the inside out.

  • 7/16 Foundation - Ashley

    Optional props include weights, ball and a resistance band. Have something stable to hold onto for support. Listen to your body, engage your muscles and THEN you move.

  • Intro to Body Collection

    This description also includes some detail about two key terms used in our classes. Neutral spine and hip points are alignment terms used throughout all of our practices.

  • 30 minute full body movement

    In this brief thirty minute class, you'll move through full range of motion paired with strong holds. Feel grounded through the foundation of each pose. Always listen to your body.

  • 4/13 Foundation - Tarra

    Focus on torso stabilization to support the spine as you move through class.

  • 30 minute standing foundation class

    This class is suitable for people coming off of injury or newer to moving their body. The entire class is done standing, with tons of focus on engagement and support through the torso muscles.

  • Ab series!

    This series encompasses using all layers and sides of the torso muscles. The most important thing is to remember to keep the naval pulled towards the low back for support. Only move as far as you can maintaining abdominal engagement.

  • 15 minute lower body endurance

    Get your body warmed up quickly with this lower body focused class. Keep in mind that alignment is always the first priority. Challenge yourself while honoring where your body is showing up today.

  • Almost 15 minutes of full body strength and FUN

    This quick paced class will have you glistening before too long. Recommended for people looking for more challenge.

  • Foundation with Ashley

    Listen to the cueing from Ashley to then apply into your own body. Remember that you never sacrifice movement for your body's alignment. Be true and honest with where and how you are showing up today.
